Photography is the memory of the world said Roland Barthes in his book La chambre claire.

Photographer from always, it is for me an obviousness to use this medium to testify the loss of the memory and to preserve fragments of memories.
The objects are formidable reserves to memory.
They mask or reactivate the memory. For to enclose our memories in the objects that surround us is also to free our minds. In my book, insignificant objects revive the memory: a cup, a coffee maker, a blouse, an armchair, a tapestry frozen in time send us back to a great aunt or a beloved grandmother. The history of our history is found in all these everyday objects.
Portraits that show the changes in mood of the person with Alzheimer’s disease. Photographers defined according to a scheduling linked to the time and the chronology of oblivion growing to disappear completely …
It remains (only) fragments of memories …
