Le siège militaire a laissé sa trace aux endroits disputés tant stratégiquement qu’ « ethniquement ». Dobrinja, Ilidza, Novo grad, Novo Sarajevo, la cité olympique des jeux de 1984 sont ces lieux. Là, un espace se reconstitue. L’ancien, le détruit, le désaffecté, l’ « inhabitable habité » côtoie le neuf, le « en construction » et le rénové. Après 1995, certains endroits ont pu par instant être « disputés » politiquement. Ainsi découvre-t-on un espace où constructions de type socialiste se superposent aux sièges militaires, aux financements internationaux, aux initiatives locales, aux réparations familiales. Un espace, blessé, stigmatisé, en mouvement.
