De l’intime à l’universel. Le cancer du sein touche aujourd’hui une femme sur huit. Un phénomène de société disent certains, un fléau disent d’autres. Une maladie guérissable certes, mais quel chemin ! Après l’acceptation de l’annonce, viennent les bouleversements que le corps doit subir. Il faut alors accepter de se regarder, d’en parler et de continuer à vivre. Sept mois de lutte, mais aussi sept mois de retour sur soi, sur la féminité, sur le sens de la vie. Le temps n’a plus la même longueur, la patience devient notre compagne et le corps notre guide. Un regard autre sur le corps, sur le rythme du temps.
From personal to universal Today, breast cancer concerns one woman out of eight. A society phenomenon some call it, a curse say others. A curable disease indeed, but what a long way to go ! After accepting the announcement, one encounters body changes without possibility of control over them. Then, you have to accept to look at yourself, to speak about it, to keep on living. Seven months of struggle, but also seven months of particular attention to your feminity, to your inner self, to truth. Time does not have the same length, patience becomes your daily companion and your body becomes your guide. Another light on the body, on time’s pace.
