Etat des lieux social le long de l’oléoduc BTC (Bakou-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), deuxième plus long oléoduc au monde inauguré au printemps 2006, alors qu’il s’apprête à acheminer jusqu’à 1 million de barils par jour de la mer Caspienne à la Mer Méditerranée, à travers l’Azerbaïdjan, la Géorgie et la Turquie, sous les pieds des réfugiés oubliés des conflits du Caucase des années 90 (Karabakh, Abkhazie, Ossétie, Kurdistan turc).

 

 


Social challenges along the newly built BTC pipeline (Baku, Tbilisi, Ceyhan), the second longest pipeline in the world which was inaugurated in spring 2006, as up to 1 million barrels a day will start to transit from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean sea, right underneath the feet of forgotten refugees from the 1990’s conflicts of the South Caucasus (Karabakh, Abkhazia, Ossetia, Turkish Kurdistan).
