In Avignon, march 2003, Alix de Montaigu met the young students demonstrating against the war in Irak. In July she was again in Avignon while the government decided to change the status of the «intermittents». At once the skies took the colours of a storm. Live art and creation found themselves at the heart of a harsh and violent but also fundamental debate. The festival was cancelled. Like the «No to the war» by students, the «No to the protocol» was then clearly expressed.
