Les compagnies pétrolières n’hésitent pas à s’approprier les territoires indigènes, installent des pipeslines, polluant tout alentour, afin d’exploiter, au nom du progrès, des zones entières de forêt primaire, une vraie catastrophe écologique.  The Jivaro indians are victims of the oil trade.  The forest soil is saturated with oil.  Oil companies do not hesitate to seize indigenous territories, installing pipelines, polluting the area and exploiting huge parts of the forest in the name of progress.  It is an ecological catastrophe.
