It is the spider web of feelings that closes on me whenever I have to face Sarajevo or Bosnia, whether I read the news, talk to my family and friends, watch Bosnian national soccer team or simply daydream Sarajevo dreams. But, however good or bad or mixed those feelings and moods can be, in the very center of that network is a love for the city of Sarajevo, for Bosnia and its people.

This selection of images is an extract from the photographer’s first visit to Sarajevo and Bosnia after he emigrated in 1998. There he revisited the places of his childhood, his family’s haunts.
