Le reportage « #1, à domicile » est consacré au maintien et aux soins des personnes à domicile en milieu rural. Au cours de l’hiver 2012-2013, Nicolas Pissis a suivi deux aides à domicile dans leur quotidien et a rencontré d’autres professionnels en Montagne Thiernoise. Observateur d’une activité parfois méconnue, le photographe invite le public à découvrir l’environnement, le travail et service rendu au quotidien par ces femmes et ces hommes. Ce travail est le premier volet de la série intitulée « La ruralité autrement ».
The photo-reportage “#1, at home” is dedicated to the domiciliary care of countryside inhabitants that allows them to stay home. Throughout winter 2012-2013, Nicolas Pissis accompagnied two care workers in their daily routine and met other professionals of the area of the Montagne Thiernoise. Observer of a sometimes little known activity, the photographer invites the audience to discover the environment of these men and women, their work and the service that they provide every day. This piece of work is the first part of the series entitled « A different rurality ».
