”The All-American is a two-part photo series that 1) comments on the physical spaces where Asian American men have felt invisible and 2) celebrates the beauty, intimacy, and tenderness of Asian American men. My goal with this photo book is not only to provide another avenue of representation in fashion/fine art photography, but is also to challenge and educate viewers – inside and outside the AAPI community – on the nuanced experiences that all Asian Americans live through.
