Elena Perlino, an Italian photographer recently settled in Paris, submerged into la Goutte-d’Or, a district of the 18th arrondissement well-known with Parisians. It’s one of the strong places of the capital distinguished by a multiethnic mixture where more than 30 Muslim and non-Muslim ethnicities live in the same streets; it’s a small dominion of about 30,000 residents. Thus, Elena Perlino lived the daily life of the locals of the Goutte-d’Or, being close to them in the public but also in the private sphere.
