L'IMPOSSIBLE SILENCE

This post is also available in: French

“The impossible Silence” is not a war documentary.
It is a personnal evocation, a photographic fiction which deals with chaos and desolation. It is about the devastation of a country, Syria, a casualty of the war.
The press, television, and radio jumped on this burning issue, rendering it impossible to avoid visions of tears, escape, exile, dust and annihilation.
In front of this disaster, charged with iron and blood, where the fury of mankind reaches its climax, and despite our helplessness, what can we do of this pile of “media” tensions served to us on a daily basis ? How can we live with this ?
This photographic series from Phillipe Foucardier, presented along with a text written by Jean-Claude Feuillarde, is the emanation of all theses invisible bruises, built-up, piled, and compacted in our hearts and our brains for months and for years.
