La Galerie Arthur Ross à l’Université de Pennsylvanie présente Children of Abraham, une exposition de soixante-six photographies en noir et blanc des religions monothéistes, Judaïsme, Islam et Christianisme par Abbas, un photographe de Magnum. L’exposition s’ouvre au public samedi.
 Depuis 1978, Abbas a documenté avec son appareil photo la “vie politique et sociale des sociétés en conflit. »
Cette exposition est l’aboutissement de plus de seize années de recherche et de voyage d’Abbas dans le but de photographier les pratiques religieuses et leurs manifestations dans toutes les parties du monde.
 Il s’agit de la première exposition de l’artiste aux Etats-Unis qui soit exclusivement consacrée au thème de la religion.The Arthur Ross Gallery at the University of Pennsylvania presents Children of Abraham, an exhibition of 66 black and white photographs of the monotheistic religions , Judaism, Islam, and Christianity by Magnum photographer Abbas. The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, Since 1978 Abbas has documented through his camera lens the “political and social life of societies in conflict.”
This exhibition is the culmination of over 16 years of research and travel by the artist to record religious practices and their manifestations in all parts of the world.
This is the artist’s’ first exhibition in America exclusively devoted to the theme of religion.
