Day-to-day life in a Le Corbusier building in Marseille
For a quarter of a century the architect Le Corbusier researched city planning, above all the question of housing. The result of this project was the Cité Radieuse. Le Corbusier wanted to solve the collective housing problem, as at the time France could not accommodate all its citizens. The Patrimony department of Marseille asked me to produce a project on the day-to-day life of the inhabitants of Cité Radieuse, wanting me to show how they had adapted Le Corbusier’s creation. There was an exhibition of my findings: “Vivre au Corbu” (Living in Corbu).
