« Royaume en Chute Libre » nous transporte dans un pays en train de subir de nombreuses transformations. L’instabilité politique népalaise a eu un impact majeur sur l’infrastructure de se société. Ces photographies dressent le portrait de l’extrême disparité entre riches et pauvres, entre victime et bourreau. Mais elles nous dévoilent surtout un pays ancien sur la voie rapide de la transformation, un royaume antique en lutte pour son dernier souffle.
The Falling Kingdom
The Falling Kingdom takes us to a country undergoing many transformations. The unstable political situation in Nepal has had a major impact on the infrastructure of its society. These photographs portray the great disparity between rich and poor, victim and perpetrator. But most of all, they reveal an old country on the point of rapid transformation, an ancient kingdom struggling to draw its last breath.
