An attempt to capture on camera the worship not only of the dead but of death itself, without being too morbid as this event glorifies life: the ritual, the festivities, the colour, joyous and rapturous at the same time, something radically Mexican.  Death, who Mexicans both love and hate, respect and mock, playing with her, and rejecting her… Death : seduction, even fascination.  A comic mirror of the vanity of men and life.  Hope.
