In the night of April 26, 1986 Unit 4 of the Chernobyl nuclear Power Plant exploded after a failed experiment, causing a huge medical as well as economical disaster which still goes on after 20 years. Within 30 km around the nuclear power plant an exclusion zone has been installed. Nobody lives within that zone and entrance is only permitted after showing the right documents. Chernobyl and the city Prypjat where many people working at the Chernobyl power plant used to live, now has become phantom places. Abandoned apartment buildings, hotels, railway facilities and even fair attractions bear witness of a progressive spirit that abruptly came to an end.
