Atlantica est un projet socio-artistique de photoreportage sur la vie en ports de pêche traditionnelle en Atlantique. Autrefois source de revenus importants pour les habitants du littoral, la pêche a connu un fort déclin ces dernières années, amenant plusieurs générations de jeunes européens sans perspectives de travail. Ceux-ci se retrouvent alors à vivre dans ces régions portuaires avec parfois la nostalgie d´une activité fortement associée à leur identité. ———————————————————————————————————————- Atlantica is a sociological and artistic project about life in traditional fishing ports of the Atlantic Ocean. Formerly, fishing was an important income source for people of the coast, but this activity had to face a large decline these last years, bringing several generations of young european people without any work possibilities. Sometimes, these young people have to live in port areas with the nostalgia for an activity strongly associated to their identity.
