Albert lives alone as a bachelor in his house situated nearby the nature reserve Vejlerne in Northern Jutland. Twice a year he and his friend gather in the remembrance of a former Ecological Station closed by the governments as the consequence of an all over reduction in economical support for environmental projects. Their funeral feast is held in Alberts home for the first time.
