Muestra fotográfica, histórica-antropológica Las fotografías y el film documental que componen está exposición permiten reconstruir la sociedad de los Selk´nam (Onas) habitantes de la región austral de la Patagonia. Las imágenes pertenecen, en su mayoría, a Martín Gusinde, sacerdote y antropólogo, que visitó los territorios de Tierra del Fuego en 1923 y tuvo la oportunidad de participar en la alucinante ceremonia de iniciación llamada Hain. La muestra plantea un recorrido, desde Magallanes en 1520 hasta la actualidad, a través de las relaciones que se establecieron entre los selk´nam y el hombre blanco, a lo largo de la historia.    THE END OF A WORLDThe Selk’nam from the Tierra del Fuego
 A display featuring history and anthropology through photographs
 The pictures and the documentary that are part of this display enable us to understand the Selk’nam (Onas) society. This tribe lives in the south of Patagonia. A great number of those pictures belong to Martín GUSINDE. He is a priest and an anthropologist. He visited the Tierra del Fuego territory in 1923. He was invited to take part in an incredible initiatory ceremony, called Hain.
Through this display, we travel from Magellan’s years (1520) to nowadays, to understand which type of relationship existed between the Selk’nams and us all over history.    LA FIN D’UN MONDE

Les photographies et de films documentaires qui composent l’exposition permettent  de comprendre  la société Selk’nam (Onas), habitants de la région sud de la Patagonie. Les images pour la plupart, appartiennent à Martín GUSINDE, prêtre et anthropologue, qui a visité le territoire de la Terre de Feu en 1923 et a eu l’occasion de participer à l’hallucinante cérémonie d’initiation appelée Hain. L’exposition est un voyage, à partir de Magellan en 1520 jusqu’à nos jours, à travers les relations établies entre les selk’nam et l’homme blanc, tout le long de l’histoire.
