Willy Ronis a acquis, depuis longtemps, la place qui lui est due, comme le rappelle Peter Hamilton, éminent spécialiste de l’histoire de la photographie, qui compte Willy Ronis parmi les trois plus grandes personnalités qui ont forgé le courant humaniste, aux côtés d’Henri Cartier-Bresson et Robert Doisneau.   Tribute to a great photogrpherThe Hôtel-Dieu museum presents a retrospective on the work of Willy Ronis (1910-2009.)  The exhibition, containing around 100 photos, follows the career of the artist whose life crossed a century, leaving us with a very personal perspective on the 20th century vision we call the “humanist movement.”

El Museo del Hôtel-Dieu presenta una retrospectiva de la obra de Willy Ronis (1910-2009).La exposición, incluye un centenar de fotografías y describe el itinerario de un artista que atravesó el siglo para legarnos una visión muy personal sobre el mundo del siglo XX,  dentro del movimiento conocido como “Humanista”.Según Peter Hamilton, el destacado experto en la historia de la fotografía, Willy Ronis ha adquirido desde hace tiempo el lugar que se merece, entre las tres figuras principales que forjaron el movimiento humanista, junto con Henri Cartier-Bresson y Robert Doisneau.
