Après Paris, Barbizon, Saint Paul de Vence et Courchevel, la Galerie Frédéric Got a désormais pignon sur rue à Montréal, et ce depuis le mois de février. Et c’est avec le travail du célèbre photographe américain et membre de l’agence Magnum Steve McCurry qu’il inaugure aujourd’hui cette nouvelle galerie. Du 27 mai au 30 juin 2016, vous pourrez découvrir une sélection de 30 photographies dont certaines devenues icônes : de la jeune fille afghane qui a fait la une du National Geographic à la fameuse photo de la locomotive à vapeur devant le Taj Mahal… La Galerie Got Montréal est la seule à représenter Steve McCurry au Canada.

After Paris, Barbizon, Saint Paul de Vence and Courchevel, the Galerie Frédéric Got is now, since last February, well established in Montreal. And it’s with the work of the celebrated American photographer and Magnum member, Steve McCurry that it’s officially inaugurating its new Montreal gallery. From 27th May to 30th June 2016, you can discover a selection of 30 photographs of which some have become icons: from the young Afghan girl, which made the cover of National Geographic, to the famous photo of the steam locomotive in front of the Taj Mahal… The Galerie Got Montréal is the sole representative of Steve McCurry in Canada.
